Privacy

The documents you upload are used only to run your comparison. They are processed while the comparison runs and are not saved by QuoteTrace afterwards.

To create the comparison, the documents are sent to an AI service that reads them on our behalf. They are never shared with your contractor.

The written results of your comparison (not the documents themselves) are saved so that your report link works and can be unlocked after payment. They are linked to a hard-to-guess reference, not to your name or an account.

Your report link stops working 7 days after the comparison is made. The saved results are not automatically deleted at that point.

Any project name or price you type in is kept only in your own browser for that session.

Payments are handled by Stripe. QuoteTrace never sees or stores your card details. Stripe collects the details needed to take payment, such as your email address, and sends receipts.

Under UK data protection law you can ask what information we hold about you and ask for it to be deleted.
